I read every message myself
Personal, by WhatsApp · cancel any month

You can write in German.
The phone is a different story.

Fast talkers, dialect, no time to think it through. That's not the German you learned. Tell me who to call and what it's about, in English or German, and I'll make the call for you, in German.

Sound familiar

It's not your German.
It's the speed.

On the phone, every pause is obvious, and the other person talks faster than you can ask them to slow down. In a chat you have time. On a call you don't. So don't make the call yourself. I won't ask why. I'll just call.

In short

What is erledigbar?

erledigbar is my personal phone service in Germany. You tell me by WhatsApp or email who to call and what should come out of it. I make the call on your behalf and send you the result in writing. Doctor's appointments, cancellations, complaints, callbacks.

No call centre, no app, no account. Just me, Danny. Cancel any month.

How it looks

You write in English.
I call in German.

English, German or a mix of both. As long as I know what it's about, I can make the call. You get the result in plain English.

Hi Danny, can you call my landlord? The heating in my flat hasn't worked since Monday. Hausverwaltung Schmitt, 0651 123456.
Sure, I'll call today.
Done ✅ A technician is coming on Thursday between 8am and 12pm. Someone needs to be at home to let them in.
Thank you so much. Last time I didn't understand a word they said.
Example of how a request goes. Names and numbers made up.
How it works

Three steps. That's it.

1
Tell me who to call and what it's about. English is fine.
2
If I can't help with a call, I'll tell you honestly before I call.
3
I'll call in German and send you a short summary in plain English.
What you can hand over

Calls where
every word counts.

✓Doctor's appointments ✓Finding a GP after moving ✓Cancelling a contract or phone plan ✓Landlord or property management ✓Reporting an internet outage ✓Calling back an unknown number ✓Tradespeople, garages, restaurants

No government offices, though. Those I don't take.

Who this is for

New to Germany
or here for years.

Many people who write to me speak good German. On the phone it still gets hard.

International students
Flat, phone contract, first doctor's appointment, all at once and all by phone.
Professionals and their families
Work happens in English. The doctor and the landlord speak German.
After moving
GP, paediatrician, internet connection: the calls that pile up in the first weeks.
Phone anxiety on top
If language isn't the only reason, that's completely fine too.
Who calls for you

No call centre. Just me.

Danny Thiel, calls on your behalf
Hi, I'm Danny.

Write to me in English or German, mistakes are fine. I make the call in German and explain afterwards what was said, until it's clear.

I'm 27, live near Trier and work as a fitness trainer. It started because friends asked me to make a quick call for them. The doctor's appointment that had been waiting for weeks. The complaint that never got made. Two minutes. Done.

I read every message myself and make every call personally. No call centre, no script, no bot. And if I can't help, I'll tell you before anything costs money.

What people say

The call is done.
And off their mind.

Real messages from real customers, in German, shared with their permission and first name only.

WhatsApp-Nachricht von Laura: Der Unterschied ist für mich: Ein Todo weniger, wie ein mentaler Tab, der geschlossen werden kann. Dadurch mehr Fokus für andere Themen.
Laura · “One to-do less, like closing a mental tab.”
WhatsApp-Nachricht von Vanessa: Ich fand es erst komisch, jemanden für mich anrufen zu lassen, bin aber jetzt extrem froh, das gemacht zu haben und mein Problem einfach abgeben zu können.
Vanessa · “It felt strange at first. Now I'm really glad I just handed it over.”

And what I don't do.

I only use what you send me for your call, and delete it once it's done.
Always on your behalf
I always say I'm calling on your behalf. I never pretend to be you.

Before you wonder

The things that make people hesitate.

✓Do I have to speak on the phone?
No. It all happens over WhatsApp. You're never on a call.
Can I write to you in English?
Yes. Write however is easiest for you, English or German. I'll make the call in German.
Will the other side know it's not me calling?
I say up front that I'm calling on your behalf. With clinics, hotlines and service providers, that's completely normal.
What if I don't understand the result?
I'll send you a short summary in plain English, and explain it until it's clear.
What kind of calls can I hand over?
Appointments, callbacks, contracts, complaints and the like. No government offices, no emergencies, and no legal, medical or financial advice.
How much does it cost?
The monthly plan is 49 euros for up to 10 calls a month, cancel any month. Not sure your call fits? Message me first, asking costs nothing.
Can I get the summary in English?
Yes. I call in German and send you a short summary in plain English.
How fast do you make the call?
Requests that come in Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, or Saturday between 9am and 2pm, are done within 48 hours. Urgent things often the same day.
What do you need from me?
Usually the number, the name and what should come out of it. Customer numbers or times that suit you help too. If something is missing, I'll ask in writing.
Is it allowed for someone else to call on my behalf?
Yes. By giving me the task you authorise me to act for you, which is completely normal in Germany. I always say I'm calling on your behalf. If a place insists on speaking to you directly, I'll tell you.
